L.A Salsa otherwise known as linear salsa which is danced in a straight line. (a more westernised version and most popular throughout the world) Usually danced as a couple with a leader and follower replacing each others locations on the dance floor. Similiar to Shines (solo steps) the basic is danced in a line and this style of salsa is most simliar too ballroom dancing as the posture and movements are more restricted.
